Bathtime Fun

Landon is getting VERY brave during bathtime. He is standing up to play with the faucet and play with his toys. Of course there is very close supervision and it is so fun to watch him have such a great time.

Pretty Girl?

Landon LOVES Mommy's hair bands. I think he would have made a pretty girl, but he is definitely ALL BOY!!!!

Sledding

During this latest blizzard of the 2009-2010 winter season Landon got to go sledding for the first time. He hated it! I think it was more because of the layers and layers of clothes we put on him rather than the sledding itself. Regardless, he went down 3 times and then got to go back into the nice warm house to play with Aunt Sherry. Christian and I got to play like little kids and sled on the hill for a bit. After about 10 times going down the hill I was wiped out. I even tried snowboarding on one of the sleds....that did not work out so well and I am lucky I didn't break anything!

All bundled up and having trouble walking in his boots!

Landon's First Sledding Experience. Next time we need to find a bigger hill :)

Landon Loves Eclairs

I have a horrible little habit of eating LOTS of eclairs. We must have a full box of them in the house at all times (hence the reason I need to workout so much). Well my lil man is loving them too! Here he is with a big happy grin after helping mommy eat her ice cream :)
So stinking cute!

Mama's Boy

I was under the impression that when Landon started to walk he would be super independent and barely want us to touch him, let alone hold him....well that is not the case. The past week he has become SUPER needy for his Mama. Usually it is in the evening and at bedtime. Normally I can go about my evening getting dinner together, doing a load of laundry and maybe even watching a few minutes of TV. However, the only way I have been able to get anything done the past week is holding Landon. It was so bad that I pulled out the Baby Bjorn and strapped him in.

Here I am making some dessert with Landon strapped in!

Bedtime battles have definitely begun as well. Christian and I used to be able to rock Landon for 5 minutes to make him a little drowsy and put him in his crib so that he could pass out. Landon actually preferred this and squirmed if we held him too long. Now when we put him down he jumps up at the speed of light and crys for us to pick him up. We let him cry for about 15 minutes so he wears himself out and that usually does the trick. The crying still just breaks my heart though :(
Hoping this phase goes quickly.

30 Hours

As of Monday that is how many hours my work week will now consist of! I am so excited for this change I can hardly contain myself! It may seem like a small change for you stay at home moms but for me it will be 2.5 hours added onto my day M-F! I will only have to work 6 hour days and my evening commute will be cut in half :) This means more time for me and my little man to hang out...and maybe some more "me" time as well. Woo Hoo!

No Pain No Gain

I started the P90X workout CDs on Saturday and boy am I sore! Doing the Plyometrics CD alone could keep me sore for the entire week. The program lasts for 90 days and is very intense. I have had to alter the program a little to fit into my super busy life with Landon and my current running schedule. Hopefully I can stay with it and get as in shape as my ripped hubby :)

Speaking of the Hubs. He went last Tuesday to get his ankle checked out. Despite his walking on it after only 2 weeks post surgery everything seems to be healing well. Much to his dismay he cannot run on it for another 3 months. So for now he is settling with cardio on the stationary bike. Looks like he may be doing another body building tourny this summer. I can't wait :)
